December 7

Well we have finally made it to the half way point of the week!!!!  YAY!
Another night of relaxing, we went to Sam's Club to do some shopping, played with the kids, and then watched the season finale Sons of Anarchy.  If you haven't seen this show, I will say it is much better than I ever expected.
This morning, it was a rough start as Noah spilled his juice all over the table, on my beautiful Christmas table runner...arg!  I got mad, he got upset and then we all hugged it out!  So after that we were good to go, but it started a little rocky but by the time we reached Karen's house (Memphis' babysitter), Noah and I were already laughing.  Good thing we both move on easily.  I love that little boy, not so little any more by the way!
Here are some pictures of this morning.  By the way these pictures were all prior to the juice spilling!
Brotherly Love!  Just look how Memphis loves to hear and watch Noah.

Noah relaxing under the tree before we left this morning!  Hey there is that Iowa shoe I have been looking for (lower corner of picture...hahaha)

Ready for Santa!

December 5

WOW!  Today. Is. Cold.
We really didn't do a whole lot last night.  We had our normal Monday dinner at Grandma Palmer's house.  Mexican Delight was for dinner, first time to have it and it was pretty good.  Noah thought it was good so it has his stamp of approval!  He even put cheese on it (yes, this is a big deal because Noah doesn't like cheese, but loves mac n cheese)!
I have been fighting a miserable cold/sinus/allergies for the last month and I finally broke down and went to the doctor yesterday.  He really didn't say what I have besides that my tonsils are huge and they put me on a double dose of antibiotics.  Hope to be feeling better soon!!!
Didn't get to any pictures last night but here a few more from this last weekend.
Noah.

Sunday December 4

Time to go home.  I am always sad to leave my mom but it is always nice to be home.  Before we left mom wanted a picture of the kids in Santa hats!  Again not an easy task.
Jaycee holding Memphis, she had been asking all morning so we finally had a moment she was able to sit and hold him.  She was so happy!  She loves her cousin!

This photo cracks me up!  No one is really smiling, except Noah but then he closes his eyes.  Memphis looks scared, Jaycee thought she needed to wink and poor Rigs didn't know what to do!

Sibling Love!

This one is a little better.  Memphis and Jaycee are doing their own thing.  Noah and Rigs way to go!  Jaycee you are way to silly...way too much of your mama in you!

On our way home we thought we would stop at the American Pickers Store (Antique Archeology) in Le Claire, Iowa.  While there we saw a Triumph and thought we better get Noah and the bike in a picture so that we could show Uncle Chris (who owns a Triumph).  By the way what a cute town, if you are ever over near the Mississippi in the Davenport area it is a must stop!

Saturday December 3

WOW!  Mom had a huge Saturday planned and it was BUSY from the time we were up until we went to bed.  Mom always does an ornament decorating day with Brent's kids and their kids so for once ALL of their grandkids were in one place.  Their house was a zoo!  I simply couldn't have done it, but my mom is amazing.  She took it all in stride and was able to give everyone attention!  I guess that is what makes a good grandma.  The kids had a great time decorating.

All of the grand kids!  Not an easy accomplishment trying to get them all to smile at once.  Taylor who is next to Noah (both 6) each struggle smiling...seriously it looks like Taylor smiles like Noah does.  Way too funny!!!

Noah working on an ornament!

Saturday Night
After everyone finally left we got ready for the Christmas Lighted Parade in Rockton.  It was a nice little parade, however, it started to rain about half way through so we didn't make it through the entire parade.  But I got some great pictures of us.  And before it started to rain, the temperature was pretty decent!
After the parade the kids FINALLY got to open their Christmas gifts!  What a great way to end the day.
Everyone posing for a quick picture!

Memphis staying warm and sleeping!  Believe it or not he was so warm in there!  But when the rain came to the car he had to go!

Jaycee so excited for the parade!

Tori and Riggins waiting for the parade

Trying to take a family picture.  Didn't go so well!

Had to prove I was actually at the parade

Happy Boy!

Memphis and I relaxing after the parade!

Present Time!
Ok, so before presents we had to eat dinner!  Homemade pizza!

Memphis loving his Iowa Bear!!!

Noah showing off his 3 Stooges Movies, this kid absolutely loves the 3 Stooges.  On the way home he was watching them and his laughter was so funny.

Then we have our cookie plate for Santa!

Friday Night!

Friday night we finally arrived at Mom and Brent's house around 9pm.  When we got there Jaycee and Riggins were ready for us so that all the cousins could play!  We also got to listen to Red Solo Cup by Toby Keith.  Hilarious.  The pictures below are of the kids dancing to it!
Mom with all of the kids!  Life is Good!

Looks like dance class is paying off!
Noah showing us his moves!

Murphy (the dog) looks like he is trying to get out of the way!

What a ham!!!  This kid loves to pose for pictures.

Grammy encouraging everyone to dance!
By the way, this is one of Brent's favorite songs and he was dancing in his chair!!!

Friday December 2

YAY!!!  Finally Friday!  This morning I had one very happy baby again.  Today I thought I better get a few pictures.  They are from my phone so probably not the best of quality but this little stinker is just so happy in the morning, thankfully.  I do believe that he is feeling much better.
We will be having our 1st Christmas with my mom this weekend.  We can't wait to see everyone and just relax for a weekend.
All ready to go to Karen's house this morning!

Just waiting for mom to hurry up and take me out of my PJs!

December 1

Pretty quiet night last night!  We just hung out at home and was able to relax a bit.  Didn't have any pictures today so I have one of our tree and Memphis!  ENJOY!  We have made it to December.  Hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner.   Hope most of your shopping is all done.  We are just about there with being done only have a few more to go!
This weekend we are actually celebrating our first of many Christmases.
Our Christmas Tree!

This picture was taken about 2 weeks ago but this was just about the same face I saw when I got him out of his bassinet this morning!  He was so happy, he must be feeling better!  Now we just have to get big brother feeling better too!!!
