Mom was on her way to our house so that I could take her very early in the morning to the airport as she was headed to Florida so my Aunt and her could then drive to Memphis to see my cousin and the twins!!!
Easter
Easter morning we got up bright and early (seriously no different than any other day) and headed to Creston for church, lunch and then an Easter egg hunt!
After a fun morning and early afternoon in Creston we headed home for a brief nap before we had to be at Peggy and Craigs for dinner. We were not only celebrating Easter but also Chris' birthday! Again, we got another Easter Egg Hunt!!!

March 19
We went to the Shriners circus on Saturday night! Chris is a Shriner and also a clown (literally). His clown name is Waffles! He does an AMAZING job. He is so good with people and especially the kids.
However, you can about guess at how well Memphis really liked the clowns...yep not at all, not even Uncle Chris, aka Waffles!
It was a fun night. Glad we got to go and support the Shriners!

March 11-Twins!
While on our way down to KC, I got several text messages that my cousin Britney was going into labor. We all knew she was having twins, one girl and one boy, Aubrey and Jaxson!
Britney had some complications after delivery, very scary for quite a few days. She did not get to hold her babies for several days. And I thought it was bad for me when I couldn't hold Memphis for 1 day. Thankfully, the babies were doing fine and they were being well taken care of up in the NICU. It was Britney that everyone was worried about. After lots of testing and even moving Britt to another hospital they finally figured it out and she was able to get her temperature to normal and then was able to hold her babies!!!!
Now they are home and doing amazing (all of them), well as amazing as one can do with twins. My mom and aunt are headed there the week of April 11th. LUCKY LADIES!
Now we need to find time to head down to Memphis and see everyone.
And here are a few more that Britney has sent me!

March 11-13 Girl's Weekend
Friday evening Ashley, Kelli, Leanne and myself all headed down to Kansas City for our annual girls weekend to hang out with Brandi and Michelle! We normally do not always have Kelli and Leanne with us so Ashley and I were excited that they were able to make it!!! And I loved being around all of my besties! I feel like we need to do it more often.
Once we arrived, we met Brandi and Michelle at Applebees for some drinks and appetizers. After a good hour or so of catching up we headed to hotel.
Saturday morning we got up had breakfast at the hotel and then headed to Brandi and Michelle's place. Once we arrived we had mimosas and more breakfast. This will begin the cycle of us eating and drinking every 2-3 hours. SERIOUSLY this happened! We headed to IKEA and went shopping after shopping for about 2 or 3 hours we went to Chilis for lunch. Yep more food, more drinks! Went back to hotel to take a nap. Got up in time for happy hour at the hotel. And you guessed it, it was about 2 hours later! More food, more drinks!
After Happy Hour we headed to the restaurant for dinner. Yep it was 2 hours later before we had more food and more drinks! However, dinner was amazing!!!! After dinner we thought it might be best to walk around for a bit and we found this little bar that served all kinds of different shots. It was pretty cool. However, I think the shots were just mainly juice, which to be honest was probably for the best!
We had a great time and I can't wait to spend more time with my girls! Love you all!

Yes, I know, almost a whole month of no pictures or updates! Sorry! Honestly, we didn't do a lot and now that it is March I promise that I will be posting more as we are almost done with winter! YAY!
Tonight a group of friends and I all signed up for a canvas painting night through Groupon! We loved it. Okay, I was a little stressed (a lot stressed, I have no creativity) but with a glass of wine (or two) I made it!

February 15
Noah had his last Cub Scouts meeting tonight. It was the annual Blue and Gold Banquet!!! Noah was able to cross the bridge over from cub scouts to become a Boy Scout! Randy and I were so proud of him and the hard work he put forth. I can't wait to see what he does in Boy Scouts. As of now, Noah loves being active with Boy Scouts, I only hope that continues. This summer he will have scout camp for a week. He is already looking forward to it.
