Tuesday December 22

First, it is my last day of school for 2015!!!!  What a great year!  But I am ready for a break and some time with my family!!!!
We have a lot of great things planned in the next week.  Lots of family time!!!

This morning we had to search and search for those elves.  Finally we found Max and Jax hiding out in the refrigerator.  Silly elves!

December 21-Night

Last night, Noah had cub scouts and Memphis got to go along with us.  I am glad we took him because Santa Claus showed up to give the boys their pinewood derby cars!  Memphis even got his own pinewood derby car that he can make!

Memphis was not a fan of Santa.  I asked him how he was going to do when we saw Mickey and he said that he would be just fine seeing Mickey!!!  Oh we will see!

Monday December 21

Today Max and Jax brought a super cool gift for Noah and Memphis!  Memphis found them hiding out in the bathroom.  And they had an R2D2 showerhead.  Noah is going to be so excited to see this today.
Randy is hoping to have it put up before Noah gets home today.

Sunday December 20

Max and Jax were hanging out in the train that Noah and Memphis built!!!  They also brought with them 2 hot wheels for the boys.
Memphis thought this was great!

December 19

Memphis woke up feeling much better today!  He was ready to find Max and Jax.  Today they had a note for him to call grandma as she had something to tell him.

The surprise was to go look at Christmas lights around town.  It wasn't as good as going to Jolly Holiday lights but it was close.  We went around the Beaverdale area and there was a Santa down there handing out candy canes!  Memphis was so excited.

It was a great night!

Friday December 18

Today the Elves were reading a book to all of their friends.  It was a great book it was Pete the Cat Saves Christmas.  Memphis loves these books.

I also had to stay home today with Memphis because he was up in the middle of the night.  He got sick a couple of times.  I was the lucky one who got to stay with him, I will take it!  I got all kinds of snuggles that day.

Thursday December 17

Totally forgot to take a picture this morning.  The elves were sitting on the side of our stairs as they found more stockings to hang!
Guess the morning was too busy!!!

But on a good note, it is almost the weekend and I am so ready for Christmas break!!!  And ready for Disney!

Wednesday December 16

This morning we found Max and Jax sitting in Memphis' chair all ready for a movie.  They got the boys the new release of Aladdin and had some popcorn sitting out.  You can guess what we will be watching tonight!!!

Sorry you can't tell they are sitting in Memphis' chair as it was dark in the living room this morning!

Tuesday December 15

Yesterday Max was feeling a little sick so he was resting up and trying to get healthy by using some of our oils.  Here is to hoping thieves works for him.
Jax left a note for Memphis to behave at school as there was a little incident at school today.  Jax suggested that Memphis use some Peace and calming oil to help him at school!

Monday December 14

This morning the elves had brought a train kit for the boys to make!!!  The boys have so much fun making these each year.  I am glad that our other little elf (grandma Bailey) helps out!

Sunday December 13

Max and Jax were found coloring on the table this morning.  They brought the boys new star wars coloring books. 

Both boys sat down immediately and started coloring!

Saturday December 12

Noah and Memphis stayed the night at Craig and Peggy's house Friday night.  And wouldn't you know it, those sneaky elves found their way over there!
Once again they made a mess of things, glad that happens at grandma and grandpa's house!!!

December 11

Our elves had to have been so busy last night because from the looks of it, they were busy making some pillow cases.  These pillow cases are so cute!  They are elf on the shelf pillow cases, I guess that makes sense that they would want to make elf on the shelf ones!!!

December 10

Memphis came downstairs this morning to find Max and Jax racing!!!  The stuffed animals must have lined up and put a finish line out for them!  I wonder who will win???

By the way...Memphis thought this was HILARIOUS!

December 9

The boys had to search a bit for Max and Jax as they were hidden in the tree!  However, both boys did get new hot wheels!

Tuesday December 8

Well the elves got their rest yesterday because this morning they were back at it!  They must have thought that we needed more Christmas lights around the house as they started to decorate the dining room and the kitchen!  And then they put sock monkey up in the light in the dining room!

Monday December 7

Max and Jax must have been a little tired after making that mess at grandma's house so they decided to rest for a bit in Memphis' school bag!  They must have been checking to see if he got all of his homework done!

Sunday December 6

Memphis got to spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa while Randy and I were at the Christmas Parties.  Memphis woke up to quite the mess from Max and Jax!  Those rascals! 

I think Memphis was so surprised that they knew he was there!!!

A Non Elf post

Saturday was a very busy day for both Randy and myself.  Randy and Craig got up very early and headed out to go hunting on Brenna's families land.  Within a hour Craig had shot a 9 point buck. 

Randy didn't get his until much later in the day but he was happy to get a doe!  

Randy also gave Brenna's nephews a ride around on the 4-wheeler!  he said that they were great boys!

The first Saturday in December always seems to bring on 2 Christmas parties.  Ashley always has hers and so does my co-worker Ed.  Both parties are amazing!  It is so much fun to catch up with everyone at each party.  (and thankfully we are able to go to both as Peggy and Craig were willing to watch Memphis). 
At Ed's party we did a lot of watching the Iowa v Michigan State game.  Sad night for the Hawks but hey they are going to the Rose Bowl!  Now that is something to cheer about!!!!

Saturday December 5

This morning Memphis woke up to find Max and Jax just hanging out at the kitchen table with some hot chocolate for Memphis!  Nothing better than starting your day off with some delicious hot chocolate.

Also, on Friday we received our Magic Bands from Disney!  In 3 weeks and one day we will be taking off to spend 5 days down there!  Beyond excited!!!!!!

Friday December 4

Today the elves were hiding in the garland! 
This morning Memphis comes up and grabs me and says mom lets go find those elves!!!  He is so excited every morning.

Thursday December 3

Thanks to Max and Jax for helping me out this morning!  As I said in an earlier post, Memphis did not have any ornaments with his pictures.  We had one ornament that was from his first Christmas that I never put his picture in.  Thankfully, Max and Jax took care of that for me and now Memphis has his own ornament with his picture! 

However, the elves also decided to make a Christmas tree out of cans and put the angel Memphis made at Sunday school on top of their tree!

Wednesday December 2

This morning Max and Jax were really hiding!  Thankfully, the boys figured it out very quickly and found them hiding underneath the new stocking hats they brought the boys.

Tuesday December 1

A game of tic tac marshmallow???  That is right, Max and Jax were playing a game this morning using our marshmallows!  I see they even drew a crowd to come and watch.  Must have been a pretty exciting game.

Later in the day, Memphis asked if he could add more stuffed animals to watch!

Monday November 30

Silly elves!  Today Max and Jax were rolling each other down the steps in toilet paper!!!  Crazy!
