Friday March 30

Happy Birthday Peggy!  This month is just chalk full of birthdays, or at least the last week has been.

We have got a big weekend planned as I will have my whole family in town (Mom and Brent, Dad, Tara and Emma)  to visit.  On Sunday, Noah and Memphis are being baptized.  It will be fun to have my family in town!

Happy Birthday Peggy.  (Thought this was a nice picture of last Easter...no Memphis at this point!)
Memphis all dressed up for church last Sunday!  He was such a little man!

Thursday March 29

Happy Birthday to a wonderful Mom!  I love you mom and thank you for always being there for me and my family.  We hope you have a fantastic day and can't wait to see you tomorrow night!

Mom with all her Iowa Grandkids!

Happy Birthday Mom!  (don't mind me being totally prego in this pic)

Wednesday March 28

Noah was a great picture taker the other day and he caught this great moment between Randy and Memphis.  Picture is a little blurry but still captures the love.
Love You More!

Tuesday March 27

Last night, was another night of relaxation!  We had dinner at grandma Palmer's house.
Today, I weighed myself, and I am down a total of 15 pounds!!  It has been a slow go, but since starting at Gold's Gym at the beginning of March I have lost 7 pounds.  I am still eating what I want just less and working out at least 3 or 4 days a week.  I feel better each day and have more energy.  Makes me feel great that I am trying to become healthy!
Today is Chris' Birthday (my brother in law)!  We hope you have a great day Chris!
I just love this little boy!

Happy Birthday!

Monday March 26

Wow!  I am finally caught up.  What a week of fun I had with the kids.  I have a feeling this was a preview of what my summer will look like, plus a few softball games here and there and some swimming!
Last night we went over to Peggy and Craig's for dinner.  After dinner, Noah talked Craig into getting out the tractor and taking him for a ride.  Memphis got his first tractor ride of the summer!  I am sure there will be more.

Saturday Night March 24

Saturday night Jaycee and Rigs came over while Tyler and Tori went to see a movie.
Below are a bunch of pictures of the nights events at our house with the kids!

Memphis out playing on the deck

Jaycee trying out the scooter.

Rigs, Noah and Jaycee having a "kids" only dinner outside.  No adults were allowed.

Saturday March 24

This morning Noah, Memphis and I all headed to Merle Hay Mall to see the Easter Bunny and do some other fun activities!  When we got to the mall there was a treasure hunt to go on and when we got all that done, Noah got to do a craft, pet an iguana, and ride the Easter train.  Lots of fun!
These was the treasure hunt that we had to go on, visit each store and get a punch, once we got all punches you got some chocolate!

The iguana...Noah was a little leary.

Noah and his Easter bunny puppet he made.

Train Ride!

Memphis watching Noah ride the train, I think Memphis wanted to ride...but will have to wait until next year!

Friday March 23

This morning Noah, Memphis and I enjoyed breakfast and lunch out!  We got home and played outside as it was finally GORGEOUS out.  Noah enjoyed being out and so did Memphis.  The boys played and played outside until Randy got home.
Randy and I enjoyed a night out, we went to see the movie "21 Jump Street."  It was a good movie!  Highly recommend.  Also, I want to go see "Hunger Games."  The books were awesome so I can't wait to see the movies.  Everyone says the movie is great so, if I manage to get to it soon, I will let you all know!

Noah posing for me.

Very happy baby!

The serious side.

Checking out the jacket...

Wednesday March 21

Memphis and I have just been relaxing most of spring break.  Today, Memphis did go to the baby sitters as I was working on the long arm, trying to earn some extra cash!
This picture pretty much sums up what we have been doing all week...PLAYING!
By the way...I didn't mention that Memphis is now 8 months old on Monday the 19th.  Now the time has really gone fast.  Hard to believe that in 4 months we will be celebrating his and Noah's birthdays!
Memphis sits pretty well all by himself now!

Monday March 19

Today we just played around the house.  We got Noah this morning and we played all day.
That afternoon, Randy and Noah were able to go for a motorcycle ride.  Noah had been waiting ALL winter for this moment.
When they got back from their ride, they surprised me with Dairy Queen.  Not quite on the diet, but it was for that day!

Saturday March 17

Alright, I am back and ready to put up lots of pictures!
St. Patrick's Day we headed downtown to watch the parade.  It was lots of fun with Tyler, Tori, Jaycee and Rigs.  We had a blast, however Memphis decided that he needed to cut the parade short as it just got too long for him.  The good part about that was that we didn't have to bother with the after parade traffic!
Rigs, Jaycee and Memphis before the parade starts!

Jaycee had to have her picture with just Memphis!

Tyler and Tori

Rigs pushing his stroller...this kid loves to be every where.

Love this smile  :)

Memphis completely wiped out!

Tuesday March 20

Happy First Day of Spring!
This week pictures and updates will be scarce but we are having a great spring break and next week ALL kinds of pictures will be posted!  And who knows maybe even sooner!

These are the two boys I get to spend my break with!  I am one lucky girl!

For now, I am off to enjoy my break!

Friday March 16

SPRING BREAK!  Yes, Noah and I will have ALL next week off!  And I have heard it is still supposed to be nice so I am hoping we can get in some good days of playing outside and cleaning up the yard.

I thought I would share a little story about my family's background.  My mother is Irish and she once told me a story about a race to Ireland centuries ago.  The story goes something like this:

The Story of the Bloody Hand-O'Neill Family Legend
In the story the leader of the O’Neill clan was in a dispute over a parcel of land with another clan leader. They agreed to have a race and whoever touched the desired land first with his right hand would claim it for his clan and become King.
The two raced over land, then water, and as they approached the disputed land O’Neill realized he was about to lose. Thinking quickly, he took out his sword, cut off his right hand and threw it to the shore ahead of his rival. The land was his, and he became king. From that day forward, the sign of the Bloody Hand has been on the O’Neill family crest and has been part of O’Neill family lore.

I have always thought this was a neat part of my family's history and I thought that sharing this on St. Patrick's Day would be perfect!
Happy St. Patrick's Day Tomorrow!!!  May the luck of the Irish be with you!!!

Thursday March 15

This weather is absolutely amazing!  Last night Randy, Memphis and I sat out on the deck and it was just beautiful.  I have a feeling Memphis will want to be outside just as much as his big brother.  Noah is always wanting to go outside...can' blame him!

Memphis all tuckered out from a day full of fun at Karen's!

Wednesday March 14

Last night we went to Noodle Zoo in Ankeny for Grandma Palmer's Birthday!  We had a nice dinner with everyone.  Happy Birthday Grandma Palmer!

By the way...it was beautiful out yesterday.  I got home from working out and Noah was outside with the neighbor boy playing with squirt guns.  Memphis loved being outside too.  He was so happy.  Maybe that is why he slept pretty good last night.  He did get up once but I then had to wake the kid up at 6:30 so that we could get him dressed and to daycare on time.

Oh summer, please hurry!!!

Tony and Noah...whats with that smile Noah?

Grandma giving her lovin' to Memphis.

Grandma Palmer and Randy...no the beer isn't hers!  But we thought she should hold it for a celebratory picture!  Happy Birthday Grandma!

Monday March 12

We had a wonderful weekend!  Saturday we went to Tyler and Tori's house and helped them unload all of their belongings as they finally got all of the stuff out of their old house as they found some renters and hopefully buyers!!!  YAY!  We went to dinner and had a nice time.  I have always decided that you are getting old when on a Saturday night you are in bed by 9:30pm.  Actually I might have been asleep by that time.
Sunday we didn't have a lot planned, went to church, did some shopping and went to dinner at Peggy and Craig's house.

This morning I got a wonderful picture message from Randy

Love pictures of a smiling Memphis!!!

Friday March 9

Tonight I went to Winterset to meet up with some of my good friends!!!  We had a wonderful time.  It was so great to see everyone again and to just spend some time catching up.  It is a must that we do it again...I am sure we will :)
We also decided while I was there that as of right now we are going to plan on going to the Journey concert this summer at the State Fair.  Now this is always a great time when we all go to a concert together!  (more details to come on this event!!!)
