Sunday September 29

Today we didn't do much but relaxed as we are all battling our allergies so we tried to keep it a low key day!
Before Memphis went to bed he was playing and playing.  Here are some very cute pictures of little Memphis!

Memphis having lots of fun with train!

Below are pictures I took using the instant setting on Randy's phone.

Thursday September 26

Tonight we went for a ride in the mustang.  Memphis loves going for rides.  He enjoys wearing his sunglasses (well only if Randy and I are), otherwise he doesn't want to wear them!
Having fun!

Tuesday September 24

Tonight Noah played "under the lights" for his football game.  He was so excited to play and that he would be playing under the lights.  He is improving so much from game to game and that is what this whole experience is about.  We had a great turn out of family that was there to support and cheer him on!

Under the Lights!

Friday and Saturday September 20-21

I took Friday off to head to Creston with Memphis!  Tori and I decided to have our annual garage sale over Balloon Days Weekend.  Friday morning I dropped Memphis off with Riggins at his day care.  Rigs told me he would take care of Memphis and not let anyone be mean to him.  (melt my heart)

Tori and I decided to go and get set up and do some running around.  By 10:30 am we were ready to go.  Which equals us being bored.  So we decided to go shopping for Tyler and Randy's Birthdays (as I am only a month behind getting my brother a gift).  However, while looking for their gifts we found hats for our selves!
Gosh we look good in our new hats!

After our quick shopping spree we decided to go head to the Windrow (a restaurant in Creston) for lunch and some drinks.  A couple of friends met up with us and we lost track of time and realized we better head back to the house and get started on the garage sale!

Friday night we had a surprise party for some friends of the family so thankfully, dad and Tara said that they would stay and watch the kids while we went out for a couple of hours!

Saturday morning we got up early to start our sale but we could have waited to open as NO ONE showed up until at least 8:30.  We did sell quite a bit.  But I still have plenty!  Then what didn't help the garage sale was that the balloons took off from a different location because of the wind.  So we didn't see the balloons at all.  It was a big bummer.

Me waiting anxiously for the balloons.  As you can see...no balloons our way, but they did go up!

The many faces of Memphis!  He was very intent on eating donuts...might be all he ate for the day!

Wednesday September 18

Happy 33rd Birthday Randy!  I am so thankful that you are such a good husband and a great father!  Our boys look up to you so much!

After Randy and I got home from work we headed out to dinner as, thankfully Peggy and Craig said they would watch Memphis so we could enjoy dinner out.

We went to Wasabi Chi for sushi!  Oh boy was it good! It was nice to enjoy dinner with my hubby.

We will have more Birthday celebrations this weekend in Creston and at Peggy and Craig's house.   We celebrated Tuesday night with Nancy and Grandma Bailey at Red Lobster.  We have ate really good lately so it will be time to eat at home soon, but that would require me going to the grocery store!

Our sushi platter!

Didn't take us long to polish it all off!

Saturday September 14

Today started out with us all heading to the Legion for some yummy breakfast and then on to watch Noah play football!  This was his second game and he has improved so much from his first game.  He hustled on and off the field and was doing a good job at being a part of each play on defense!
Noah's team is 2-0!  They won their first game 24-0 and the second game was 28-0!
After Noah's game we headed home and relaxed for a bit and then off to cheer on the HAWKEYES!  We went over to our neighbor's house for some good food, company and a great game!  We are so thankful to have such nice neighbors and they just happen to be Hawk fans!

That is Noah #4!

Just have to get him in that ready position!

Memphis was there to cheer Noah on!

Zach and Sara also came to cheer him on.  I know Zach looks taller than Noah but Noah for some reason wanted to kneel!

And a little post game fun!!!!

Sunday September 7

Today at church Noah got his 3rd grade Bible.  He was beyond excited for this!  He was also assigned a mentor who will work with him going through the Bible.  He will do this instead of Sunday School for a couple of months.  He got his Bible at the beginning of the service so he spent a lot of the service looking over his Bible and let me tell you, it is pretty cool, they have tailored it to 3rd graders.

The 3rd Grade group.  A couple of them were missing but I think a couple of them are excited!

More of Labor Day Weekend!

Just a few more pictures of Labor Day Weekend up at my Mom's!  This time I included some pictures of Nan's Cabin that my mom will be renting out next Spring (hopefully).  This cabin has a great view of the Mississippi.
Check out that view!
This is the living room.  Much more comfy furniture.  And as my Auntie Peggy stated, "you took the city out of the cabin!"  That she did but in the above pictures the sun room is dedicated to Nan and still has the "city" look to it!
Papa B being himself!!!

Enjoying the company and good food!  Love the Stelter Valley Fun!

August 31-Setpember 2

Over the weekend we headed to see my Mom and Brent at the cabin.  It was such a nice and relaxing weekend.  We did very little but we did accomplish to get things moved around in Nan's Cabin as mom is rearranging and making it a little more comfortable.  Mom put her furniture (from her house in Beloit, meaning mom has very little furniture now at her house, which means they will just need to move permanently up North!!! ) in Nan's cabin.  The cabin looks so nice and is much more comfortable.  Not that it didn't look nice before, but Nan just always sat at her dinning room table and never in her uncomfortable chairs she had in her living room.  Mom isn't totally changing everything just enough and enough to keep our memory of Nan!
Unfortunately, over the weekend we didn't take pictures.  As you will see we only took pictures of us being goofy.  Wish I would have gotten some of Mom and Brent with the kids...but no just of us being crazy!

Memphis eating his oreo on the way to see Grammy!  Got a little messy

The kids had fun on the golf cart and no they didn't have the key so they stayed put!
Yep Tori and I being our selves!

Trying to do a selfie but I look terrible!

And more goofying around!
