Update

Thursday
Craig had surgery to remove a goiter from his thyroid.  All went well and hopefully he will be home today!
Friday
Today after work we are taking off for Wisconsin to see my mom and grandma!
This morning Memphis and I had some extra time so we took a picture with the iPad.

He is waiting patiently to see his Grandma's this weekend!

Tuesday September 25

Tonight we went to see Zach play Wee Ball!  What a great time that was and it was only about 30 minutes long!
It was fun to see Zach having such a good time out there.  He did so well and I think he might just be a great baseball player one day!

Running after a ball!  But he decided that he was more fun to kick it!  I think he is ready for soccer!
Getting his game face on!

What a hit!  Run buddy, Run!

Made it to first safely!  Way to go Zach!

Memphis trying to get out of his stroller and was caught in the action!

This is what happens kids if you do not brush!  Noah thought it would be funny to show off his ugly teeth.

Sunday September 23

Today Noah got to go and have his first target practice.  Randy and Craig took Noah out to shoot for the first time.  Noah was very excited.  Now before anyone gets concerned, Randy and Craig take it very seriously with gun safety.  The reason they are out there is to teach Noah how to handle a gun properly and gun safety.  They are hoping to go squirrel hunting soon, where Noah will get to help (no shooting involved) find the squirrels and Randy will shoot.

Getting ready to head out to go target practicing!

Randy helping him out.

And more help from Grandpa!

Saturday September 22

On Saturday I got to watch Jaycee and Riggins!  We had a lot of fun playing.  It was actually a nice day as ALL 4 of the kids got along and played so well.
I had to share this beautiful picture of Jaycee Mae!  She is adorable and the count down is on for her 5th Birthday party at the Indoor water park!

Randy's Birthday

Tuesday Night we celebrated Randy's Birthday with just the four of us!  I made my healthy lasagna (yes, healthy and delicious!) and for dessert we had apple crisp.  YUM!
After supper, Noah was insistent that Randy open his gift.  Noah was very proud of what he got his dad and Noah already has a spot picked out for the sign!  He thinks we should hang it on the outside of the garage.  I told him that wouldn't happen, and he looked at me like I was out of my mind.

Only 5 candles (thought 32 was an awful lot, so Noah and I decided on 3 in one row and 2 in another!)

Singing "Happy Birthday"

Showing off his gift!

Tuesday September 18

Happy Birthday to the most wonderful husband a girl could ask for, an even better father, and my best friend, Randy!  I love you and I hope you have a great day.

My loving and carefree husband!

Happy 32nd Birthday Randy!

Saturday September 15

Saturday morning we started the garage sale and the balloons went up!  It was a wonderful day.  It was also nice that we were able to get rid of a lot of baby stuff that was just cluttering up Memphis' room and our living room.
We had a great weekend and thanks to Dad and Tara for letting us stay with you!

Friday September 14

This morning, Memphis woke up in the best of moods.  We took advantage and snapped a few pictures.
Enjoy the weekend!
Love You More!

Having FUN!  He loves to be upside down!

Thursday September 13

Tonight Randy and I were getting ready for the BIG garage sale that we have yearly at my Grandpa Bill's house in Creston.  This weekend is the Balloon Day's Weekend.  It is a great weekend full of fun.  The balloons will hopefully go up and when they do they fly right over Grandpa's house and it is beautiful!  But back to the garage sale, we always have one as everyone goes right by his house out to see the balloons, so it works perfect!
As we were getting ready, Memphis was all over the living room trying to get into all of his old clothes and throw them everywhere.  We finally gave up and waited for him to go to bed, he was much happier to have our attention!
Playing on his chair and trying to figure out what he can get into!

Just a happy little baby boy!

This and That

Last night (Tuesday) we started off the scouting season.  Noah had his first scout meeting and was so excited for it.  This year there are 10 boys signed up, compared to the 5 last year the group has really grown!  And hold on to your seats because popcorn sales are right around the corner, we get all of our information for that next week  :)

Memphis is still trying to figure out the walking thing.  He is so close.  He will take one small step and realize that he did it and fall right to his bottom.  So one of these days he will just take off.  Till then I will enjoy him crawling everywhere.  By the way, the kid is one of the fastest crawlers I have ever seen.  (No wonder he doesn't want to walk, he can get there faster by crawling!)

At school, I got a new IPad.  After winter break all the students will have their own IPads and us teachers got ours first so we can figure out how we are going to use these in our rooms.  In the meantime I took it home over the weekend and was trying out the camera.   Here are a few pictures that Noah and I took!

Not a great picture and seriously what was I looking at...certainly wasn't the IPAD!

Saturday September 8

We headed over to Tyler and Tori's to watch the Iowa/ISU.  Which by the way was a terrible game.  Yes, the Hawks lost 9-6...yep that was the score.  If you know of anyone who can catch the ball, tell them the Iowa Hawkeyes could use a receiver.  (ugh...long season ahead, but hey we will be watching all games win or lose)!

Even with the loss, we still had a great time.  The kids played and us girls played bags!  Yes, during the half time we went out and played and it last through most of the 3rd quarter (apparently we didn't miss anything).

Most of the gang!

Tori and Jessica playing bags.  Tori and I were on a team and beat Jess and Jill!

Friday September 7

Wow, this week has flown by!  I have fallen way behind on taking pictures.  So hopefully, this weekend I will take a few while we are out and about.
We do not have big plans for the weekend, just watch the Iowa/ISU game and finish up the deck (yep that is right, finally going to get it finished!!!)

Memphis is ready to cheer on the HAWKS!

Monday September 4

Well last night was a disaster!  We found out that Noah had head lice...UGH!  We spent the night cleaning Noah's head.  The only good thing about it was that Noah didn't stay with us on Monday night so we didn't have to clean the house completely.  However, we did do lots of cleaning.  And as I type my head is itching (the thought of it makes me itch, are you itching your head yet?) and no worries the rest of us have been treated and no one has it!  We have done lots of laundry and should be good to go.  But let me tell you, this SUCKS!  But am glad that we got it all taken care of...oh and if you didn't know, the treatment stuff gets kind of expensive, but worth the money!

We also had Jaycee and Riggins over at our house so Tyler and Tori got to clean them up but they were also lice free!  YAY!

We did make some crafts last night.  The kids had a lot of fun and made a HUGE mess...but isn't that part of being a kid?

Just a sneak peak at what some people will get in their mailboxes!
