July 23

Today we celebrated the boys' birthdays with family and friends.  I honestly didn't get a lot of pictures but thank you to everyone that was there!  I had it all planned that we would be outside at our house as I had a couple of swimming pools set up (just little ones) and a slip in slide and water balloons.  However, we found like 3 hornet's nest out there so we all stayed in my house.  It was crowded, hot, and not what I wanted.  But we made it work.

Check out the boys' cakes...Memphis designed his, Noah loves cookie pizza so he got that.

Happy 11th Birthday Noah!  Holy Moly 11!!!!  Noah is growing up fast too.  He is really starting to mature and I love watching him be a big brother to Memphis.  I hope 11 is a great year for you too buddy!!!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Noah from this last year...

Happy 5th Birthday Memphis!!!!  Not sure where those 5 years went but they went fast.  You are growing up and I love watching you learn and figure things out.  Lets hope that 5 is an amazing year for you little boy!

This year we got Memphis a bigger bike.  He loves it!!!

And a monty later those training wheels are off!

July 8-13

On Friday I took Jaycee, Rigs and Memphis up to my mom and Brent's house for almost a week.  I stayed for the weekend and then left them all with mom!!!
We had great weekend.  The kids were in heaven being with Grammy and Poppa B.  They fed the chickens, went for tractor and four wheeler rides, tried to go for a boat ride (boat wasn't working so that was not cool but Brent got it all fixed up for another time).
The only bad thing that really happened was that for some odd reason Memphis decided that biting was okay again.  Poor Rigs got bit twice.  It made me so mad.  However (one month later we are doing good with it again, I honestly think it is a structure thing and also that we are not in a routine right now and that for some reason he struggles expressing how he feels, but that all could be related to his speech, however none of it is an excuse for biting)...rant over!
Here are some pictures of the kids and their week with Grammy!

Poppa B was the crazy driver but they all LOVED it!!!!

Noah-Boy Scout Camp

Noah experienced his first week long Boy Scout Camp this year.  I think for the most part he enjoyed himself.  He really seemed to have fun but at the same time he did struggle for a bit as he missed home and the air conditioning.  But he did great there!  I know he did a lot of stuff (I just can't remember what).  Noah loved the shooting range and did really well there as he hit the target and even bullseye quite often.  Needless to say that made Randy pretty proud!

Here are some pictures from Randy dropping him off and Parent's night.

Noah and Zach stayed together all week.

July 4

We decided that we were going to have a laid back 4th of July this year.  We honestly did not do a lot.  On July 3 we had dinner over at Craig and Peggy's house as Britney's mom and grandparents were in town.  After dinner we headed to Altoona for some fireworks, we arrived a tad late but still got to see the display, just from a distance!!

Then on the 4th we just stayed home and Brenna came over to hang out.  We grilled some ribs (Brenna and I did, it was our first time, but dang they were good!) had sweet corn and some potatoes. Like I said low key.  And I was perfectly fine with that.  It was a great couple days to just be home.

June 28

This week Memphis took a class called Outdoor Games.  He loved it and it taught him to take turns (yeah we are still working on that, but it is getting better) and many other things.  He had a great time and some of it might have been because Tyson was there with him!  I am so happy that Memphis has been able to take some classes this summer to keep him getting used to some structure.  In the summer it feels like all structure is out the window!

June 24

Tonight, Riggins got to spend the night with us!  Memphis and Noah were both in heaven as their cousin was with us.  We had pizza for dinner and then went home and let the boys play.  Memphis and Rigs play so well together, and even Noah will play well with the two of them.  Memphis has not let me forget that we need to do this again!  Memphis did ask me the other day when we were going to move to Creston and live next to Rigs so that he could see him every day.  HA!  I love my hometown but I think I will pass.  Plus that do you know the trouble that these two would be in if they lived next to each other??  Lord help us!

June 22

Today my friend, Jessica, invited Memphis and I to go to the zoo with her and her two boys (Tyson and Finn).  We had so much fun.  Memphis and Tyson and close in age so they play pretty well together and it is nice that they get along!!!  We spent the morning walking around the zoo and tiring out the boys.  We enjoyed lunch and then headed home for a nap.  Thanks Jessica and boys for a fantastic morning!

Catching up...starting with June 20

Well I am a few months behind!  But we have had a wonderful summer!!!  I am going to try to catch myself up as I love to document what we have done and the kids.
Lets start where I left off and that was June 20

Peggy and Craig had to get rid of their pool this year as the pool liner had some holes and it was just time to be done with the pool. We have missed it this year but they did get a new pool!  Check this out!

See the pool is just big enough for the 4 of them!  Guess what they all loved it and that is all that matters.
