Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter holiday weekend.  Saturday I took the boys to Fareway as they did an Easter egg hunt and Peggy and Craig met us there!  The boys got a lot of candy.
Sunday we were on the go...We headed down to Creston for the day.  We had a cook out and just let the kids play outside.  It was so NICE outside and the sunshine and warmth was so good for my soul.
For dinner that night we headed back to Des Moines and had dinner with Randy's family.  The kids enjoyed their 3rd Easter egg hunt!  We are now loaded with candy!

All in all it was a great weekend.

April 14

Oh my goodness!  It has been a while.  Sorry friends, I kind of fell off the blogging band wagon for a bit.  However, lets see if I can get back into the swing of blogging again.
I see my last post was before Christmas.  So lets start there...we had a wonderful Christmas with seeing my family and Randy's family.
In January, we just tried to stay warm.
February-I hate February as I just want warm weather.  However, it was a warmer than normal winter!
March- we headed down to Memphis to spend a few days during Spring Break.  We had a wonderful time.  Headed to see my mom after we got back from Memphis.
April-Currently we had a shed built, I am planning a girls weekend soon

There ya go...you are now caught up!  Geez, we are super exciting people!

Here are a few pictures.

Wednesday December 14

Today Max and Jax were a bit silly.
They took a dry erase marker and marked all over our pictures!  Take a look at what they did!

Tuesday December 13

This morning we found Max and Jax holding a piece of paper telling Noah and Memphis to please call Grandma as she had something fun to tell them!  Memphis had to call right away.  It is a good thing Grandma was up early.  Noah and Memphis found out that we were all going to go to Jolly Holiday Lights!  YAY!

The boys had a good time looking at all of the lights and it was excellent this year and Santa was amazing and there was not a long line at all!!!!

Max and Jax

Max and Jax are still around the house for a few more days!  Here is the fun that has been going on!

Friday December 9

They must know that Memphis loves Hot Chocolate!

Saturday December 10
The kids got the book "A Bad Kitty Christmas"
Sunday December 11
It took the boys a while to find them this morning as they were hanging out in the fridge!  Silly Elves!

Monday December 12

It didn't take Noah and Memphis long to find them this morning!  They brought new toothbrushes!  The light stays on until they need to quit brushing!!!

Elves...

Sunday morning Memphis woke up at Grandma and Grandpa's house because Randy and I were out at a Christmas Party on Saturday night!
I love what Max and Jax did this time!

We haven't put money in yet!  But we will before the season is over!

Monday morning we woke up and found Max and Jax hanging out in the stockings!  They had brought Memphis some cute elf pjs!  Love it!  (Thanks to Becky for finding this!)

Tuesday morning the boys found those elves on the couch!  They got to decorate the sun catchers that night when they got home. I wish I would have taken pictures of them painting.  I think the elves should have also gotten one for dad to paint!

Wednesday morning, Noah and Memphis run downstairs to see what Max and Jax are up too and all I hear Memphis say, "Those silly elves!"

Thursday morning December 8, Memphis did not have to travel far to find Max and Jax as they were hanging out in his room!  The elves were reading a book to all of their friends in Memphis' room!

Saturday December 3

This morning Memphis woke up to Max and Jax ready for him to bake some sugar cookies!

Here is the aftermath of the cookie baking and decorating!

Once we decorated all of those christmas trees we decided to take a little break!  Later that afternoon we went to the Johnston Library as Santa was arriving!!!  We meet my friend Jessica an her son Tyson.  The boys had so much fun and Memphis couldn't believe that Santa was really coming in on a fire truck!  Love the his excitement about Christmas!!!
