Saturday April 27

Today while Randy was shaving he had a helper!  Memphis just loves to be doing what everyone else is doing.  Lately he is getting good at repeating what we say or at least trying!  He knows where his nose, eyes, ears, mouth, hair, hands, belly, and feet are.  He is just growing so fast.

Watching Daddy to make sure we do it correctly!

Clean it all off!

Thursday April 25

Who is ready for Spring?
I think Jaycee and Riggins are!!!  This weekend we are to finally start having some beautiful weather.  I can't wait to get outside and work on the yard and my flower garden.

Sunday April 22

Today we had lots going on.  We started out day out by going to Creston to celebrate Emma's Birthday!  Which I totally blew my diet...but that is okay (I will be back on track Monday)!  We were to meet Tyler and Tori there but their car didn't start as they were staying at the Casino in Osceola and they were stranded and couldn't celebrate Emma's birthday.  But they got their car towed and Tori's mom took them home.
After lunch we headed back home as Noah had a Birthday Party to go to at Sky Zone.  Pretty much a huge trampoline inside.  Noah said it was AWESOME!  I have a feeling that is where he will want his birthday party now.

Happy Birthday!

Saturday April 20

Happy Birthday Emma! Today Emma turns 11! Where did the time go? It seems like you we're just a baby and now you are becoming so big and in just a few short years will be a teenager! Yikes!

Tonight Randy and I went downtown Des Moines for the Glow Run! We had a good time. We meet up with my friend Kathy. And then we celebrated with another Birthday girl, Melissa! She turned 30 this weekend so we had to celebrate by entering a 5K! We had a great time...I didn't run but did walk the whole thing...not sure if the rest of our group can say that! Some of the group cut through the course! Ha!

Randy and I before the race!

Random pictures of us!  Melissa, Birthday girl is in the top picture with me!  Below is Kathy, Rachel and myself, we are all Kosama chicks!

Friday April 19

Last night we had Cub Scouts and it was a Pack Meeting.  Tonight the boys were split into two teams and each boy had to get dressed in really big clothing and once dressed run to the other side where another boy would help take off those clothes  HILARIOUS!  Randy got a few pictures of Noah.  We also signed Noah up for a camp out in May and he couldn't be happier, they are going to go fishing and he is very excited because he said he might just get the biggest bass or maybe even a squid!  HAHAHA!!!!!

You can see that Noah slides safely to the finish line!  I think the pants will just a little too big!

Thursday April 18

Okay a LONG time ago I stated that I would be running my first 5K!  Well the time is here and I quit training.  YIKES!  Seriously!  Well, I am still going to go through with the race (as I think it will be oh so much fun) but I will just not be running the entire thing.  I am going to give it a shot at running as I have been working out pretty hard the last couple of weeks (which I do realize may only get me about a half mile of running).  But I can still get a nice workout in walking and enjoying the company I will be with.  So about 8:30pm on Friday night be thinking of me.  And by about 9:30 I will be enjoying my first beer of the night and maybe my only as I do not want to ruin what I am doing at Kosama, but gosh darn I do have to splurge a little!

Tuesday April 16

Last night we got home and were all just relaxing and Randy decides to get out the big bouncy ball that both boys love.  It was fun to watch Randy, Noah and Memphis have a "ball" with each other!

Just a sweet picture!

Love it when Noah and Memphis can get along and play!

Not for sure who was having more fun!

Saturday April 13

This morning Memphis and I headed to Creston to see my best friend, Kelli Juravich!  It was so nice to catch up with her and see her kids, Lucas, Liam, and baby Landon.  So when we arrived there were all kinds of kids as Kelli's brothers' kids were there.  Memphis was not quite sure to think of about 10 kids running around!  However, Liam (who is near 4, just guessing) is a total hoot!  The kid comes walking into the house with his hands and pants covered in grease!  I have decided that him and Noah would make a good pair but they would be in trouble most of the time!!
But Kelli and I had a nice visit and it was so nice to catch up with her.  Now I just wish I could get her to move back to Iowa or I could go down to St. Louis and visit once in a while.

After our visit with Kelli, Memphis and I headed to see my dad, Tara and Emma for a little bit.  We had lunch with them and just hung out for a bit as they really never get to play with just Memphis.  They thought Memphis was so funny and we all had a good time playing together!

Myself and Kelli!  Thank you Kelli for having us over!

Tuesday April 9

Tonight while watching the Voice Noah and Memphis decided that they would dance!

Both boys dancing!  Memphis is now into unzipping his jammies and letting his chest show!

Noah posing and Memphis photo bombing the picture!

Monday April 8

So last night we went over to Peggy and Craig's house for our Sunday dinner.  Chris had drove his motorcycle over and Noah couldn't wait to get on it!  Randy did take him for a ride, which I think they both enjoyed.
Noah and Zach posing with their helmets on!

Sunday April 7

Today Randy had plans to work on the mustang with Noah and they were little grease monkeys out in the garage.  Memphis and I decided it was time to go and watch Macie (one of my athletes that I coached at Winterset) play softball at Drake.  Hard to believe that she is now a senior at Drake!  This was Memphis' first college softball game and he did pretty well!  Macie had a great game, I believe she went 3 for 3 and played stellar defense!  I couldn't have been more proud.  It was also nice to see her mom, Michelle and to catch up with her!
During the game Memphis got a little restless and started to wander.  He found the famous Drake track.  Hmmm...maybe my next track star!

Memphis checking it out!
Yep, I think he will like running here!  I sure hope to see you running on that track one day!

Friday April 5

Last night when we got home we played outside for a bit.  What a great night.  I think Memphis is going to LOVE playing outside this summer.  However, as we were talking to our neighbors out in the driveway, Memphis was running up and down part of the driveway and tripped and fell.  The kid face planted it and we got our first scraps of the season.  Poor guy, but within moments after we got all cleaned up we were ready to go!

Also, yesterday was Brandi's Birthday!  Brandi, is Memphis' godparent and a long, long time friend of mine.  We have been friends since well before kindergarten!  Not many people have been friends with someone for at least 27 years!  Wow, Brandi 27 years, I want to say we were around 5 when we became great friends that have been through many tough, happy and great times together!  Thank you for always being a great friend, Happy Birthday!

Thankfully, he was a happy boy, even if he is all scraped up!

April 3

So, as I was looking through pictures I noticed that I still hadn't caught up the blog from a while back.  We had Noah's Blue and Gold Banquet a while back for Cub Scouts and I realized that there was no pictures up yet!
Here ya go!

The scouts planning their skit!

Noah will be a Wolf next year.  Way to go BUDDY!

Easter Sunday March 31

Happy Easter!  We had a fun filled day!  Started out early with church, then over to Tyler and Tori's house for a HUGE lunch with Dad, Tara and Emma.  Followed by an even BIGGER Easter Egg Hunt!

Yep, he was done!  Stopped what he was doing and started in on the jelly beans!

KITE FLYING TIME!

Hang on Randy!

Riggins flying his kite!

Emma all tangled in the kites!

Tori even more tangled in the kite!  Glad Rigs was helping her!

Emma, Noah and Jaycee
Memphis and I after flying some kites

Sisters just hanging out!  Can you tell it was windy?

The second part of the day we headed over to Randy's parents house.  They also had a huge spread of really great food.  And also had a BIG Easter Egg Hunt for the boys.  Between the two places we had awesome food (which I think I gained 5 pounds) and even better company!  Thank you everyone for a great Easter!

I tired looking boy!  Sorry no picture of Memphis as thankfully Grandma and Grandpa put a little area just for Memphis and he did that!

Zach went out and got all of his eggs!  But that must have taken a toll on him as he wasn't feeling well and had to go home after supper.
