Monday January 26

Happy 6th Birthday Zachary Tate Palmer!
Last night we got to celebrate Zach's Birthday (well kinda, we had dinner)!  Chris and Sara brought spaghetti and chocolate cake over to Craig and Peggy's house for Zach's Birthday.  It was so good and I am so happy that Zach likes the same thing I do, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting!  YUM!

We will get to celebrate again when we go to Urbandale Pool for his Birthday Party (which Noah and Memphis are way excited about), but until then HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZACH!

Make a Wish!

Now lets hope it comes true!

Monday January 19

Tonight we pulled out a new game that my mom got us for Christmas, called 100 Wacky Things To Do.  HILARIOUS!  The boys loved this game as you have props you have to wear, and the cards you draw has something on each one that you have to do such as act like a dog or sing the song I Am A Little Teacup and do the actions with the song!  Even Memphis was able to do a lot of it and he felt like he was apart of the game.

I am a rock star, Memphis has googly eyes, Randy has a red boa on (but you can't see it) he was our model, and Noah has the elephant truck on!!

Saturday January 17

Today we started our day at Noah's first basketball game.  He didn't do too bad for his first time playing!  He has a lot to learn but it seems like he is trying and is enjoying himself most of the time!
He is #5  and sorry for the blurry photos!
After basketball, we headed to Noah's Pinewood Derby.  This year they had it out at the new Scout's office.  That place is so nice!  Noah designed the car himself this year and did most of it himself when it came to building the pinewood derby car.  He really enjoys doing things with his hands and it keeps him busy!  And Memphis did pretty well sitting through all of the things we had going on today.  Big thanks to Papa and Grandma for helping a little bit with that too!
Noah got 3rd place!  Memphis was so excited to watch the races.

January 10-Christmas with Mom and Brent

Mom and Brent were finally able to make a trip down to see us for Christmas!  They arrived Friday night and stayed with us.  It was so nice to have them here.  We were able to surprise Memphis at Karen's as mom was able to go in and get him!  The rest of the night was us all relaxing and catching up.  Memphis, was not about to let Grammy out of his sights.  It was also while he was with good ole Grammy that he called his mom (me) a big donkey!!!  SERIOUSLY!  Kind of suspicious that this happens when my mom visits...hint, hint!  Now when he doesn't get his way he will call me a big donkey (so this is funny, but I can't laugh or he will continue to do it.  But Noah and Randy need to get that hint)!

Saturday morning we got up early and headed to Creston.  We didn't do a lot, just hung out and relaxed for the day.  The kids were excited to open gifts as one last hoorah of Christmas!

January 6

Today we all had to get back to normal.  Noah and I had to go back to school and Memphis had to go to Karen's house!  But I think Memphis was a little out of sorts and had way too much relaxing!

I don't think Memphis was ready for our normal routine!  Noah and I thought we should take a picture of this moment as Memphis is ALWAYS up early!

Saturday January 3

One might ask what Memphis and I did over Christmas break...

Lots of relaxing and watching all of the new movies that Santa brought us!

December 31-Remembering the Year!

We have had another amazing year.  I was happy to see 2013 go as way too many people I loved I had to say good bye too.  I was hoping for a better 2014 and I think I got it!

In January we celebrated Zach's birthday and probably tried to stay warm.  Also, this was when Enzo decided to catch a rabbit and bring it to the door to show it to us.  Again a big thanks to Craig for coming over to take care of it since Randy was working!  (GROSS)!

February, Tyler opened his gym and Tori moved her salon into the gym.  The gym has been going strong ever since and they are now expanding this year!  I also got to take a girls weekend trip to Kansas City with Ashley, Brandi and Kelli!  I am ready for the next one!  Who else is ready?

We put our house on the market in March.  We had a ton of showings but never what we wanted in an offer.  (took the house off the market in July/August).  We also celebrated my mom's, Peggy's and Chris' Birthdays!

In April, Noah started baseball.  We celebrated Emma's birthday.  (must have been an easy month!)

May brought several things.  We painted our house (that only took 3 months to finish, but hey we got it done).  Randy and I were chaperone's for Johnston's Prom.  We also celebrated Riggin's, Grandma Bailey's and my Birthdays.  Then the Palmer Family took a trip to the Omaha Zoo!  Oh the fun we had.

June was full of us swimming and me playing golf!

July we went to Wisconsin over the 4th.  We celebrated a ton of birthdays: my dad, Craig, Tony, Sara, Tara, Nancy, Britney, Memphis and Noah!  Then Randy and I celebrated our 6 year of marriage!  Birthdays in July is a lot like Christmas for our family!  Holy smokes, I am broke after that month!

August saw Noah and I back to school.  But before that Peggy, Memphis and I headed up to Mom's to help her with her opening of her new store!  Couldn't be more proud of my mom for following her dream!  We also celebrated Tyler's birthday.

We started September off with Bailey being born on September 1.  We were so happy to welcome her into our family.  I know that Chris and Sara were over the moon happy along with her big brother Zach!  Randy got to go to Oregon for work.  He enjoyed his time there!  I also had my 15 year class reunion.  That was a lot of fun to catch up with people I hadn't spoken to in years.  We also celebrated Randy's birthday!

In October we had fun at Jaycee's birthday and got to dress up for Halloween!  My dad bought a coffee shop in Creston!  I am proud that he didn't just fold after Gits closed but instead let faith lead him to where he should be.

November was full of me being thankful for all of the blessings in my life.  Also we celebrated Tori's and Brent's Birthdays!  We also got to stuff ourselves on Thanksgiving and go out for some shopping on Black Friday.

December is always full of Christmas stuff.  I love Christmas and the love it brings to my family.  We got to celebrate Christmas 4 times so who can complain about that?

Happy New Years and here is to an even better 2015!!!!

Saturday December 27

Today we celebrated another Christmas, this time with Nancy and Grandma Bailey.  We had a great nice dinner, opened gifts and then played some games.  A great time was had by all and it is always nice to be able to sit around and play games!

And I just love when Tony gets ahold of my phone and I get these random pictures! The boys got great gifts from Nancy and Grandma Bailey.  Memphis is able to play doctor now and he loves his race track that Grandma Bailey made him.  Always racing his cars on it!

Friday December 26

Tonight I was lucky enough to meet up with one of my best friends!  Brandi and I have been friends since we were 5 years old.  There are not many people in my life that know as much as about me as Brandi does.  It is hard to imagine that we have been friends for almost 30 years!  We have been through a lot together and Brandi I do not know how the corn flake burp didn't come up over dinner!  But it is no wonder her mom and dad feel like my second parents at times, as I pretty much grew up at her house as she did mine.
Randy and I met up with Brandi and Michelle.  We went to Skips (if you haven't been there I highly suggest it, nice little place but the atmosphere and food are wonderful) for dinner and stayed for quite a while just talking and catching up.  I honestly wish that those two lived in Des Moines and not Kansas City, but it does make it a treat when I do get to see them.  I am hoping some summer boating trips with them down at the Ozarks!!!  And I know we will be having a girls weekend down in Kansas City soon (Feb or March).  (Yes, Ashley, I will look at dates)

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!
Today we headed down to Creston to spend the day with the Hanson's!  It was so nice to spend Christmas with my family.  We had a great day of spending time together and playing games.  Heck we even talked Tara into going to the coffee shop and getting us some coffee!  YA!

Christmas Eve

Santa comes to our house on Christmas Eve (since that is when we have Noah).  The boys woke up so excited to see all of their Christmas gifts.  Each year we invite Craig and Peggy over to watch the boys open their gifts (Peggy always brings cinnamon rolls, chocolate milk and clementines).

After, the boys opened their gifts and played with everything for a while and relaxed a bit we headed over to Craig and Peggy's house for Christmas with the Palmer's!  We had a great day with everyone and it was nice to celebrate as a family.
