August 11

Today I stopped in at school to work on a few things and I had the boys with me.
Memphis saw the sculpture of the Johnston Dragon and he had to have his picture taken!

Fish Days-Lansing, Iowa

Over the weekend we headed to Mom's to celebrate Fish Days in Lansing (this is where Mom's shop is).  It is the town's little festival they have.  There was lots for the kids to do.  Petting zoo, bouncy houses, a little play area for the kids.  Noah even got a henna tattoo!

On Friday we thought we would take the kids bowling.  They had a lot of fun.  I decided that I might be the worst bowler known to date.

And the fun continues!  We grilled out Saturday night on my deck outside her shop.  Great view of the river.  Good food too!

Saturday night there was a lighted boat parade!  IT WAS AWESOME!  After the parade there were fireworks.  The kids loved every bit of Saturday night.  Gotta love being on the River!

Monday August 3

Today we decided to go to Adventureland with Peggy and Craig.  This is Memphis' first time going.  We wanted to try out roller coasters before we head to Disney this Christmas!  Noah goes to Adventureland often and loves it.  And thankfully, Memphis loved it too!

We had a great day and spent most of the day at the park riding rides and enjoying ourselves.  Memphis has no fear.  I didn't get many pictures of us that day.  And Noah was such a good trooper he would even go on the little kid rides with Memphis.  However, Memphis loved the big kid rides too because he was just tall enough to go on them!

August 2

Today we celebrated all of the July Birthdays that we hadn't celebrated yet on the Palmer side (Tony, Sara and Britney).

Swimming after dinner

Vacation Bible School

Wednesday-Sunday Memphis attended Vacation Bible School at our church!  He did such an amazing job of interacting with the other kids and not crying and being scared like he was last year.  Last year he wanted nothing to do with vacation bible school but this year he couldn't wait to go!!  Now lets hope this carries right into preschool!

Here are some pictures of him playing on their final day and then some pictures of him singing and dancing during church on Sunday.

Celebrating the end of VBS!

Oh geez at this point I was afraid he was going to take off his clothes.  Thankfully he didn't!!!
Dancing away!
Picking our nose!

He was so excited to be up there!

More dancing!

July 26-Party

Today we finally celebrated Memphis' Birthday with our families.  We went to Dewey Park again as Memphis just loved that place last year and the kid could spend all day at a park if you would let him.  So why not have his birthday there?!

Tori and I practicing a little softball!  I think we both still have skills! Heck I am slapping from the left and she is pitching left...TALENT!
I had more pictures of Memphis opening gifts but decided that deleting the pictures was the way to go!  UGH!  Oh well.  He enjoyed his party, everyone who was able to make it and all of his gifts.

July 26-Anniversary

Randy and I have been married for 7 years!  Geez time flies when you are having fun!  I love this man to the moon and back and am so grateful that he asked me to marry him.  We are truly blessed.

Here is the 7 years and to the rest of our lives!

Love you more

July 25

Today Brenna stopped by and gave Memphis and Noah their Birthday gifts.  Noah got a google play gift card.  Memphis got some cool fish.

First picture shows Memphis hiding and waiting to see his gift!
By the way, the fish lasted for about 2 weeks, we now have to purchase some new fish :(

For dinner that night we headed to Smokey D's to celebrate all of the July Birthdays with Nancy and Grandma Bailey.

July 20/22

Happy Birthday Noah!  Wow 10 years old!  Hard to believe that you are now double digits!  You are an awesome kid and we love you.

We celebrated Noah's birthday at Sky Zone.  Noah got to have his brother, cousins and friends jump with him!  What a great night of fun.

I barely got any photos of Noah as he was too busy always jumping and playing dodge ball!  But I think he had a great time!

July 19

Guess who is 4???
Memphis Dean Palmer is 4 years old.  Oh my goodness the time has gone so fast.
Today we celebrated by going to Chuck E Cheese with Craig and Peggy and then to Spaghetti Works for dinner.  We will have a big party later in July!

It was a great day!

Loving my 4 year old!

Celebrating at Spaghetti Works

July 15

Today in the mail we got a surprise gift from one of Randy's bosses, Ralph.  He sent our family our very own Coke bottles!  They are so cool!  We love them!

July 12

Today we did a lot of swimming.  First round was with Brenna and Bailey, the boys absolutely love swimming with these two.  I am so happy that Brenna has moved to Des Moines and that our boys are getting to know her and that they absolutely love her and her family!!

After Brenna left we stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's because it was our normal Sunday night dinner.  The boys were beyond excited because they knew that after dinner they were going to get to swim for a second time today!!

Bailey got in the pool with the boys tonight.  She did so good in there and I was able to get a few pictures of her!

Palmer kids!

July 11

Today we headed to Creston to celebrate my dad's birthday.  We grilled and then headed to watch Creston softball play against Harlan to advance in the softball regionals.  Noah went to the game with me and while Memphis, Rigs and Tori stayed at home to play.  Noah loved the game as he got to spend $5 at the concession stand!  HAHA!!!

Happy Birthday Dad!  We all love you!

Happy Birthday to you!
