June 6

Early this morning my friends Kathy, Chris and I all headed to my mom's for a short getaway.  Mom was having a mini craft show and Kathy had some items she wanted to sell.  So while Kathy was at mom's shop Chris and I walked through Lansing, Iowa.  We stopped in some cute shops and just wondered around.  That took a little over an hour.  At that point we thought we should take a seat and enjoy ourselves at the bar and grill next to Mom's shop!  We sat on the patio and enjoyed our view of the Mississippi River and had a couple of very nice cold drinks!!!
All in all it was a great Saturday and we headed back home on Sunday.  Thanks girls!

Our view of the Mississippi

What we drank while we looked at our view!

Terrible picture but we enjoyed the fire pit at Mom and Brent's house!

After several weeks of staying with family and friends we finally closed on our new house today!!!  We are beyond excited to have a bigger and newer home that will be much more accommodating to our family!  We made the move to Johnston and now I literally have a 3 minute commute to work, Randy has a longer commute but he loves being in Johnston.
The boys also like the new house.  Noah has already made friends in the neighborhood.  There are about 7 or 8 other boys around us that are between 8 and 10.  He has become quick friends with them!  YAY!
Now, we continue to unpack and find a new home for things.  Gosh do we have a lot of stuff!!!  I am ready to have all boxes put away.
Also, to all of you that allowed us to stay with you and put up with the 4 of us thank you for the bottom of our hearts, we couldn't have done it without you!

I will have more pictures of the inside of the house as I get it under control.

Today Dad, Tara, Emma and I all headed to Omaha to watch Tyler and Tori compete in a body building competition.  Tori was in the bikini division.  Let me tell you...these two look amazing.  They had complete dedication to this competition.  I wish I would have the drive and determination they had leading up to this competition!  They looked amazing and did amazing.

Can ya guess whose white legs those are??  Geez, get a tan Palmer! HA!!!
Now the picture below is of Warren Branch.  Yep you might have just did what I did at the competition.  Say who is that?  Well I didn't know either.  But he is one of the biggest professional body builders there is today.  He is who all wish they could be.  I think he is overly huge but he did speak before he walked around and posed.  He is truly an excellent speaker and knows how to put on a show.  I didn't think I would care too much about seeing him pose but I got caught up in the excitement!  Pretty impressive!  His thighs is as big as that person's head in the picture!  Wowza!

Tonight was BEAUTIFUL!  Randy decided that him and Memphis needed to go to the car show and take the Mustang.  Memphis loves to ride so off they went.  While at the car show they happened to come across Mater from Cars!!!

Not sure who is happier?!

Off we go!

Loving life!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend in Creston.  We got to the cemetery to decorate graves.  The kids love to feed the fish so we had to make sure that we had enough bread for everyone! We also taught the kids how to play Left, Right, Center!  They enjoyed the game and I believe Jaycee and Noah even walked away with some money!!

Once home from Creston we headed to take some flowers to Randy's grandparent's graves.  They were already beautifully decorated!

Sunday night we had dinner at Craig and Peggy's and guess who got a tractor ride???
Craig was heading over to our new house to do some mowing for us and Memphis got to ride along!
