Ready for Trick or Treating!

Had to share this photo of Jaycee and Riggins!  Tori sent me the picture from her phone, so the quality isn't the best, but seriously they are so stinkin' cute.  As you can see Jaycee is already playing the part well, she has the attitude down!  Love the hand on the hip!  And well Rigs is just too cute!
Cowboy and Cowgirl!

Thursday Night

My goodness it has been a while!  Thursday, Memphis and I headed to Creston.  We spent the night at Grandpa Rick's house.  This was Memphis' first slumber party and he did fantastic!!  (I was back in town for a funeral, my friend Kristen's grandma passed away...she was a wonderful lady)
After Memphis and I went to family night we went to Dad's, he had dinner ready for us.  Tyler, Tori, Jaycee and Riggins came down to play with us!  We had lots of fun.  Can't wait until we can get back down to Creston to see everyone again!  Next time Memphis and I will bring Randy and Noah.
Riggins must have just got done eating, as this kid is the messiest eater I have ever seen!  Take a look at that shirt  :)

The kids having fun!

Hey Jaycee, look at the camera!

Nice family picture!  But where is the crazy little girl?!?  Jaycee where are you?

Tara hanging out with Memphis...keeping him safe from his cousins and Aunt Emma.  Won't be long and Memphis will be joining in on the fun!

Halloween Party!

Today is Karen's Halloween Party.  Sara sent me this picture of Zach and Memphis all dressed up in their trick or treating gear!  These two just do not get much cuter than this.  Love you both so much!!!

Adorable

Yesterday Memphis was 14 weeks old!  He is growing so fast.  Last night he slept for a total of 7 hours!  YAY!!!  It is nice to get some sleep once in a while.  It is amazing at how quickly he is changing.  He no longer fits into his newborn clothes.  Simply amazing how much joy our two boys bring to us!  We are blessed.

Taking a quick snooze before we headed to Karen's house this morning!

My sly grin!

Weekend Update!

Saturday
It was filled with lots of fun!  Noah got to take his friend Garrett to Phineas and Ferb's Best Live Show Ever.  Those two boys had so much fun!  Randy bought them each a Perry the Platypus.  I think they loved their Perry's!

Noah and Garrett waiting for the show to start!

Smile boys!

Dancing during the show.

Give it up for Phineas and Ferb!

Saturday Night
After we dropped off Garrett we went home and took a much needed nap!  But after that we picked up Memphis and decided to stop and get 4 pumpkins.  We spent the rest of the night carving pumpkins!  So much fun!!!

Top left to right: Noah's pumpkin, Memphis' pumpkin, Randy's.  Mine is on the bottom step.
We are still trying to work on that smile!

Sunday
We spent Sunday trying to get ready for winter...did I just say that word?  I hate that word!  But I worked on the front yard trimming my flower bed and getting it ready for (oh no I have to say it again) winter.  But the yard does look nice now that it is all spruced up!
While I was in the front yard Randy and Noah were in the back.  Randy was working on the deck.  You can see we took down the railing as eventually we would like to have 2 steps all the way across and then a patio put on from there.  (ambitious?  yes!)  Randy is also painting the deck red.   Will have more pictures when the painting is complete!  And in a few years I will show you the rest of the deck!  (hahahah)  Love you Randy!!!
While Randy was slaving away, his little helper, Noah was either A)helping out, as much as a 6 year old can,  B) riding his 4 wheeler, or  C) swinging!

Randy working hard!

Noah swinging on his new swing set!

Case of the Mondays

Well I can tell its Monday as I forgot my camera to download my pictures from the weekend.  It was a very busy weekend with lots going on!  Must have been so busy that by Saturday night I was feeling miserable (sneezing, watery eyes, congested, then running nose).  Still not feeling the best, but at least it is now manageable.
Hopefully tomorrow I will have all the pictures posted from the weekend.
Enjoy your Monday!

Wednesday

We are finally one day closer to the weekend, thankfully!  This has been a long week.  I had conferences last night and will have them again on Thursday from 1:30-8pm.  Makes for very long days.

Memphis went to the doctor yesterday and he weighed 11.8 pounds!!!!  WOW!  This kid is growing and doing so well.  He has come a long ways from that 4.2 pounds he weighed back in July.

Today's picture is one of Noah at the pumpkin patch again.  You may notice that this picture look familiar and it should as it was already posted earlier but this time I had a little fun with it!
If you haven't been to a pumpkin patch totally suggest going to one!  So much fun!

Better

Just gearing up for the Hawkeye Game on Saturday!!!  (got a little bored and did some editing on picnik!)  Love messing around with photos and seeing what I can do, or what I completely struggle with.  The day has gone better since the last post.  Memphis is doing better, just very congested.

UGH!

Well last night was definitely a long night.  Memphis was up quiet a bit, he isn't feeling the best.  I think he has got a cold.  :(
Then Noah is up with a bad dream.  So I think between the two boys we were up and out of bed at least 3 times from 10:30-5am.
Word of the day: UGH!
Sorry no pictures...maybe some will come later in the week!

Smiles!

You would have thought we were busy this weekend, but when I look back we really were not!  Saturday was spent with me quilting on the long arm and Randy at work.  Sunday was a day of relaxation!!!  Sunday night we were able to get a few great pictures of Memphis.

Gotta love this smile!

I mean does it get any better?!?
Oh, almost forgot, I won a family 4 pack of tickets to Phineas and Ferb at Wells Fargo on this Saturday!  I was caller 10 to the radio station Star 102.5.  Noah is so excited to go, we did already have tickets but now he will get to bring a friend!  Pictures next week for sure of Noah and the show!

YAY!

Friday is finally here!  Well I was going to just stay away from the blog today until I got the best picture from Sara.  So here is my daily picture of Memphis!  Enjoy the weekend!!!!
Doesn't he just look like a little man?!?  I love it!

Mornings...

Good Morning!  First, Memphis slept 7 hours again last night!  YAY!  However, this morning at about 6:40 we were starving, which this means he has to continue to starve until we get to Ms. Karen's house.  I hate to drop off my baby crying but that is what happened this morning.  Thankfully, he is well taken care of!
This is what a starving baby looks like at 6:40 AM...Feed me!!!!

Memphis was very happy yesterday at the babysitters!  Aunt Sara snapped a quick picture and sent it to me to brighten my day!

Tuesday Night

Well Memphis must have loved Ms. Karen's house because he slept for 7 hours straight last night!  Needless to say Randy and I were very happy parents this morning.
On a side note we were putting Noah to bed last night and he went to give Memphis a kiss on the forehead.  When Noah went to bend down, Randy lefted Memphis up and they (Memphis and Noah) bonked heads...we had two kids crying.  Noah felt so bad, however, we told him it was an accident.  Which by the way is one of Noah's favorite sayings right now..."but it was an accident!"  (yes we have been learning the difference between accident and on purpose)
Thought this picture was more appropriate than showing a picture of them both crying!  So enjoy the smiles!!!   Look how big Memphis has gotten from when he was in the hospital...almost too hard to believe.

First Day

Today is Memphis' first day at daycare!  Where did the time go?  He is 12 weeks old today.  We are so blessed that we got him into a wonderful daycare.  Ms. Karen will do a wonderful job with him and Memphis will get to be with his big cousin Zach all day!
I also forgot to mention that yesterday was my niece Jaycee's 4th Birthday!  She is wonderful, we Love You Jaycee Mae!
Thought this was fitting since this is how I feel today!!!  However, Memphis was a very happy baby this morning.
Happy Birthday Jaycee!

Happiness

Well today is the first day I am trying out the wonderful world of blogging!  I hope you  enjoy my family's adventures!

This last week (October 4-9) my mom was visiting, or I should say watching Memphis for a week.  It was so nice to just leave the house and not have to take Memphis anywhere...note to self: get rich and hire a nanny!
As you can see Grammy and Memphis spent a lot of time scheming!

On Saturday we (Randy, Mom, Tori and I...Tyler thought he better stay and watch Riggins (he was really just wanting to watch the Hawks!)  decided to go to Center Grove Orchard with the kids!  You may be asking who was watching Memphis...thankfully Grandma and Grandpa Palmer said they would!
We had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch.  Enjoy the pictures!
Noah loving the cow!
Mom and Randy showing the kids how to milk the cow!

And down the slide Noah goes!
Mom and Jaycee coming down the slide.
Noah bouncing on the big pillow!
Jaycee giving it a try!

This is how we ended the day!  All smiles!
