October 18

Tonight we decided we would carve pumpkins.  We had dinner at Craig and Peggy's and we all brought our pumpkins!!!  The boys had a lot of fun carving and so did Britney!

We are now ready for Halloween!

Bring on fall!

Pumpkin on the top left is Britney's, Middle left is Noah's and bottom left is Memphis'.  As you can see Stephen was over to help Memphis clean out his pumpkin!!!

October 10- Jaycee's Birthday

Happy Birthday Jaycee Mae!  8 years old...

We had a great time celebrating your birthday.  Its always a good time when there is bouncy houses, food and family.  It was a great day to celebrate.

Saturday October 10

This morning we went to the Johnston Fire Station.  They were having an open house.  (Gosh they have a super nice station, like I wanted to watch the Iowa game on their TV and their comfy chairs)!  Memphis had an okay time, he wasn't feeling the best but he still wanted to go and Grandma came with us, since he was lucky enough to spend the night with them on Friday!

After we got home from the fire station, Memphis was completely wiped out.  He laid on the couch with me and fell asleep within minutes.  His belly hurt and he was just tired.  He slept for 2 hours before he decided he wanted lunch and that didn't set well in his belly and it didn't last long there either.  After lunch he slept on and off until around 7pm.  At that point he started to finally perk up and keep everything down! 

When Memphis lays down like this you know he doesn't feel well.

And when we do not feel well we get out the oils to help us! 

Sunday October 4

Tonight we had dinner at Peggy and Craig's house.  After dinner, we had smores for dessert.  I think everyone loved it!  It was a beautiful fall night!  Love these type of nights.

And loved that everyone had a great time together as a family.

September 30

When Memphis woke up this morning he asked me if I would plan something special for him and myself.  Randy has to work late so Memphis wanted to do something "special."  So I decided to call Brenna and see if she wanted to go to dinner with Memphis and myself.  We chose Joe's Crab Shack (and Randy was able to join since we ate in West Des Moines).  We had a wonderful dinner and then went to walk around the pond at Jordan Creek.  It was a beautiful night and Memphis loved to run around after dinner. 
All in all, I would say that he had a "special" night! 

Memphis tells Brenna that he "wubs her forever"  I am so happy that he "wubs" so many people!!!  He is such a sweet boy!

Amber's Wedding September 25

Friday night we celebrated Amber Palmer's wedding.  She was of course stunning and the wedding was beautiful.  We wish her and Kevin the best! 

We had a great night celebrating.  Memphis and Zach loved dancing.  Zach knows how to move it!!!  Such a fun kid.  I didn't get any pictures, but I guess even Cy (the mascot from ISU) made an appearance at the reception.  This Hawkeye fan was okay not being there but I bet it was a great time for Cyclone fans!!!

September 18-Randy's Birthday

Tonight we celebrated Randy's 35th Birthday!  We went to Appare to have hibatchi and sushi!  YUM! 
The boys always love to watch the show that goes along with the making of your food.  Tony and Britney meet us there and it was fun by all! 

I hope that my wonderful husband had an amazing day. 

On Sunday we celebrated at Craig and Peggy's house.  Randy got a lot of his favorites that night for dinner. 

Randy even got to show us his skills behind the grill!!!   The boys LOVED it!
