A Little Fun!

On Saturday night Noah and I decided to make an Easter Bunny cake! We had lots of fun and decided we had to make another for this Easter Weekend!

Friday March 29

Happy Birthday to the BEST Mom in the world.  You have always done so much for us we love you more than you know.  We hope that you have a wonderful day.  Thank you for being a great mom and grammie!!! 

Also, Happy Good Friday!  We have lots of plans for this Easter weekend.

Wednesday March 27

Lately, we have been struggling with getting Noah back on schedule from being on Spring Break.  He has just been kind of moody and not himself.  This has caused many issues over the last couple of days.  This morning was not good, but a phone call from dad (Randy) and a talk from Grandpa Craig has hopefully helped him turn his grumpy mood into a more happy mood!  I love this little boy so much and hate it when he has a bad day.  I know some of it is because he got bit by Memphis last night (which we are working on, any good suggestions on gettting a 19 month old not to bite would be wonderful!) and just not wanting to go to school as I think he realized that summer is right around the corner!  Oh well, just venting and hoping this is all just a phase out of both boys.  Still love them more than they will ever know.

Today is also Chris' Birthday!  Happy Birthday Chris, we hope you have a great day!  Love you!

Sunday March 24

This morning we headed to church and after church we went grocery shopping. When we walked in Cookie Monster was standing there so we had to get our picture taken!
After lunch and a nap by all we headed to Peggy and Craig's for dinner. I decided that we should color Easter eggs so Noah and I got everything ready to take over there! Thanks to Grandma Bailey for the Easter egg coloring kit! We had lots of fun! Well Memphis decided that when the boys took off their shirts he wanted his off and then he ran for the bathroom as he thought it was bath time! So Memphis got a bath!
Noah, Zach and Memphis had a great time playing tonight, it is fun to watch them play especially when they all get along!

Saturday March 23

Well with Spring Break coming to an end the boys were getting restless to go outside.  Instead, they opted to play inside again but this time got a little more creative.  Or I should say Noah took matters into his own hands!

Wednesday March 20

Today I dropped Memphis off at Karen's so that I could work on some quilts (needed to make some money over break)!  When I got home we decided to have a game night.  We had Tony and Nancy over to play cards.  We tried to teach Tony to play (he eventually figured it out but I think he enjoys to just irritate people more than playing)!!!  HA!

Tonight we rented Here Comes the Boom (good movie).  But I had to share this beautiful picture of my boys!

Well for St. Patrick's Day we didn't do much!  We did go to the Olive Garden with my side of the family.  Maybe next year if the weather is warmer we will do the parade, but with it so stinking cold there was no way we were going to sit in the cold.

After the long week we had we decided we would go up to Wisconsin and visit my mom!  We had this trip planned a ways back and didn't see a reason in not going. 
Here are some pictures of our weekend.  We really didn't do much but relax and let the kids play.  It was a well deserved weekend!!!
*After looking at the pictures I noticed that Noah must have avoided the camera all weekend!  Except when I made him sit in front of it!

Thursday March 7

Not for sure where to begin with this post.  It has been a very long couple of days that my family has experienced.  On Saturday morning my Grandpa suffered from a heart attack and was rushed to the Creston Hospital.  We didn't head down to Creston as all seemed well and I could even hear Grandpa laughing and being himself in the background when I was talking to Dad.  However, later that night (early Sunday morning) Grandpa's blood pressure dropped and he passed away.  If any of you know me at all you know that I was very close with my grandpa.  We did a lot together.  Heck, he let me live with him all through college and a year before Randy and I were married.  Him and I would sit for countless hours and just talk!
We buried him on Wednesday March 6 and it might have been one of the toughest things I have done.  However, I know that he is with Grandma now and that he is happy and can remember everything.  I love you more, Grandpa!

What a great picture of the BEST Grandpa in the WORLD!  Thank you for always putting me and our family first all of the time!  You are one incredible man!

Friday March 1

Yesterday when Randy and I went to pick up Memphis from Karen's house, she handed me a note and it said that Memphis had someone climbed out of his pack in play that she puts him in for his naps!  YIKES!  He was not hurt but she went down there to see what was going on and he was just walking around...LOL!  She did say that the pack in play was near the bed so that he must have used the bed to pull himself out.  This morning when I dropped Memphis off she said that she is moving the pack in play away from the bed!
This kid climbs on everything, he really may be part monkey!  Oh and I can't remember if I have said this or not, but he LOVES to give hugs (well he has to be in the mood)!  We are working on kisses now, but for some reason it turns into more of a bite!
